I am working towards my CIW certification. This will entail taking three exams: i-Net Plus (foundations), Site Design and E-commerce. I finish my E-commerce management class through the University of Richmond, and Beacon Institute. My long term goals are to become both Adobe and Macromedia certified.

I have several professional goals set for myself. Some of have already accomplished. I am competent in Dreamweaver, Fireworks, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I created templates for an entire newspaper layout in InDesign. I have experience in banner creation and created over 200 banners for timesdispatch.com. I am familiar with some web development languages such as JavaScript, CGI, and ASP. I also have some Database background, using Access and SQL. I am an advocate for accessibility and am familiar with the 508 Federal regulations.

I have created logos for Habitat for Humanity , VHDA and several other clients. These logos were printed on T-shirts and marketing materials. I also created web sites for each project.

I have worked in a training capacity for Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks and InDesign.

I am passionate about graphic design for both print and web. I feel I have the ability to quickly become proficient in new technologies. I continue my growth in both web development and publishing.
